Terms & Conditions

Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully. They govern all estimates, custom fabrication, installation, remodeling services, and use of the PM Architectural Glass & Mirror Inc. website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) represent a legally binding agreement between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity, “Client” or “you”) and PM Architectural Glass & Mirror Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of our website, estimation tools, fabrication, and on-site installation services.

By browsing our website, requesting a quote, or signing a project proposal, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms.

2. Scope of Services & Custom Glasswork

PM Architectural Glass & Mirror Inc. specializes in custom architectural glass fabrication, specialty glazing, and residential & commercial remodeling, including but not limited to:

  • Frameless and semi-frameless shower doors and enclosures.
  • Custom decorative mirrors, antique mirrors, and LED illuminated mirrors.
  • Glass railings, staircase glass balustrades, and pool fences.
  • Commercial storefronts, curtain walls, and glass entrance systems.
  • Custom glass wine cellars and temperature-controlled enclosures.
  • Interior office glass partitions and sliding barn doors.
  • Kitchen and bathroom architectural remodeling solutions.

3. Quotes, Estimates & Measurements

Online or preliminary phone estimates are non-binding budgetary estimates based solely on the preliminary dimensions and specifications provided by the client.

  • On-Site Laser Verification: Final binding pricing requires an on-site field measurement by our technicians to account for wall out-of-plumbness, floor slope, structural backing, and precise cutouts.
  • Estimate Validity: Written quotes remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from issuance, subject to glass and hardware supplier price stability.

4. Orders, Deposits & Payment Terms

Because all architectural glass products are custom-tempered and cut to specific millimeter measurements, all custom orders require an initial deposit (typically 50%) prior to material tempering and hardware ordering.

  • Balance Due: The remaining balance is due immediately upon substantial completion of installation.
  • Custom Order Cancellation: Once glass has been tempered or cut to order, cancellations cannot be refunded for custom materials, as tempered glass cannot be recut or altered.
  • Accepted Payments: Major credit cards, ACH, bank wire transfers, and certified checks.

5. Site Readiness & Customer Duties

To ensure timely and safe installation, the client is responsible for:

  • Ensuring tile, marble, and wall finishes in shower areas or partitions are completely installed and cured prior to final field measurement.
  • Providing adequate wood blocking / structural backing within walls for heavy glass hinges and header brackets.
  • Ensuring clear, safe access from the staging area to the installation location free of obstructions or other trades during the scheduled installation window.

6. Installation & Inspection

Our certified installers perform all work in accordance with Florida Building Codes and industry safety standards (ASTM C1048 for tempered glass).

Upon completion, the client (or designated project representative) shall inspect the installation. Any visible blemishes, scratch claims, or hardware adjustments must be noted on the work order or reported in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of installation.

7. Limited Warranty & Maintenance

Workmanship Warranty: We warrant our installation workmanship against defects for a period of one (1) year from completion.

Hardware Warranty: High-grade architectural hardware (hinges, clamps, handles) carries the original manufacturer warranty (ranging from 3 years to lifetime depending on manufacturer).

Exclusions: Warranty does not cover accidental impact, glass spontaneous thermal breakage, settling of the building structure, misuse, or damage caused by harsh chemical/abrasive cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia, acid-based agents). Only non-abrasive glass cleaners or squeegees should be used.

8. Intellectual Property & Photography

All website designs, branding, logos, text, graphics, and portfolio photographs displayed on this site are the intellectual property of PM Architectural Glass & Mirror Inc. and are protected under United States and international copyright laws.

We reserve the right to take high-resolution professional photographs of completed installations for our portfolio, case studies, and marketing, ensuring that no private personal artifacts or homeowner identifying materials are disclosed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, PM Architectural Glass & Mirror Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to website use, delays in supply chain material availability, or project scheduling adjustments caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state courts located in Orange County, Florida.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued engagement with our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
